Preschool Program

For the young child it is very natural to socialize with children their own age and older.  All classes are open to both three year olds and four year olds as well as being inclusive and welcoming to those with challenges of any kind.   Our program is designed to be a spirited introduction to social and academic life. The fun filled activities take full advantage of a young child's remarkable ability to learn. In addition to unstructured play times where children can explore and play together, we present weekly themes within a two year curriculum covering a wide variety of interesting topics.

Our fun filled program speaks the Love of God to everyone who enters. The spacious classroom, filled with natural light, offers a combination of open play spaces and an smaller rooms for quiet interactions. Parking is plentiful but many of our students walk to school as we are in the centre of a growing community. Be sure to check out our shaded outdoor playground. The children call it “Awesome” and for parents, Starbucks and Tim Hortons are only a block away!

Discover Science & Nature

Experience wonder with colour mixing, magnets, the properties of light, and the life cycles of plants and animals.

Discover Math

Learn math principles of numbers and counting, shapes, sizes, and colours, directions and patterns, and spatial awareness.

Discover Social Studies

Develop social skills in roleplaying, puppet presentations, ‘Thumbs up Attitude’, manners, as well as respect for others.

Discover Literature & Phonics

Make stories come alive with shadow shows, fairy tales, nursery rhymes, and letter recognition for printing and reading.

Discover Bible Stories

Share in the knowledge of God, Creator of all things, His love, and how to live a righteous life with moral and spiritual principles.

Discover Art & Music

Create and be expressive with fun-filled days of art and music—ribbon dancing, painting and constructing with glue and paper.

Family Times

At Discovery Station, the whole family is important.  Family members are invited to join us for many special events throughout the year. 

Grandparents Day – November | Grandparents are invited to join us in our classroom.

Christmas Concert – December | An evening presentation of the true meaning of Christmas.

Dad’s Day – February | Fathers are invited on a Saturday for a variety of fun activities. 

Easter Festival – March/April | Share the true story of Easter and celebrate the Spring.

Mother’s Day Tea – May | Mothers are invited to join us for a semi-formal tea party. 

 Adventure in the Park – June | Gather together in a Langley park for an adventure. 

 Graduation – June | An evening to sing our favourite songs before heading off to Kindergarten.

 Field Trips – Extend the classroom learning experience and go out into our community.

Extended hours program (Mornings only) 8-12

  • 5 day (Mon – Fri) ◦ $547/month ($452/month)

**Occasional drop in for the Extended morning program is available for a $12 fee per class**

There is an Administration Fee due upon Registration of  $50.00 

All Administration Fees are non-refundable upon cancellation.

A deposit equal to one month’s tuition (before the CCFRI reduction) is required upon registration. This amount will be credited to your account and will be used as your last month's fees. A refund for any overpayment will be issued during your child’s last month of preschool (June).

Deposit Fee is non-refundable upon cancellation after July 15, 2024.

    Fun Family Phonics is the best program we could sign our son up for. He started to speak after age 3. He had very little understandable words by age 4. Since he started Ready to Read, he not only reads new lines every time he comes home, but he reads them clearly. He also understands his reading!     Ready to Read is an excellent follow through of previous phonics training. The course is carefully and thoughtfully laid out, and keeps the children’s attention. Our daughter’s reading skills are excellent. What is most encouraging is listening to her recite the rules of phonics as she reads and tries to figure out new words.
